An ant from North-South London is currently on a murderous rampage while in a giant ant suit. The ant is known to be wielding a sword and an assault rifle.

At circa 8:00 this morning, an ant, who cannot be named was observed entering a giant robot suit, similar to that worn by the children’s TV crimefighter Ant-O-Cop. However, rather than fighting for the law, this ant seems to have a vendetta against humanity and has been indiscriminately murdering locals with a machine gun and sword.

It is thought the ant had an argument with his wife regarding some footprints on a rug. “From there things escalated as the ant pushed the woman onto some poison and then some of the poison went in the lady’s mouth and so she was ill but then she stepped on the ant so the ant was also ill but then the ant made it to the Robosuit and then it went about smashing stuff and people and I ran in to stop it and I punched it and then we had a fight but it hit me and I went through a window but I was OK but it ran off.” Prime minister David Cameron said.

Police are deploying their Special Insect and Arachnid Division to deal with the threat. They hope to use an EMP blast to incapacitate the robot and then beat the shit out of the ant as it runs off, but the ant may call ant backup resulting in two-day-long shootout in which many bystanders are killed and maimed. “This is what we’ve trained for.” Said Arnould Brest, Team Captain of SIAD.

Britain has been largely free of insect-based casualties since the 1978 uprising when spiders declared independence from insects. Fighting on the streets caused waves of damage to vertebrates and invertebrates alike.
